Our team also contributed to the development of tailored Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Environmental Guidelines for Miners as part of the Sustainable Development of the Mining Sector in Rwanda project. These guidelines offer clear, practical instructions on preventing workplace hazards, using protective equipment, managing waste, and reducing environmental degradation. Designed in collaboration with industry experts and aligned with national standards, the guidelines are accessible to both formal and informal miners. They serve as a foundation for training programs and daily operations, fostering safer working environments and more sustainable mining practices across the country.
